SonoLab involved in high level talks for £20 billion sewage disposal project
SonoLab is participating in high-level talks with one of the UK’s major cities to undertake a large-scale renovation project for sewage treatment and disposal.
The details on the development plans are yet to be announced, but when the project commences thousands of construction workers could be in line to receive hearing protection provided by SonoLab for the entire duration of the works.
The project is set to be one of the largest of its kind costing a reported £20 billion. The initial plans involve a collaboration of six of the top construction groups in the UK, all of whom have expressed a strong commitment to the health and safety of their employees, with SonoLab paving the way for both employee and employer protection.
The SonoLab solution is recognised by key Health and Safety decision makers due to its high reliability, quick fitting time and its ability to be tested and proven with the SonoLab Noise Attenuation Programme (SNAP).
One of the ultimate aims of the new development is to lessen the environmental impact of sewage disposal and so the eco-credentials of the SonoLab solution being reusable for up to two years stood out when compared with other options such as disposable plugs.
